Raymond Lam Fung’s character in The Mysteries of Love "談情說案" does not seem to offer any surprises due to its close resemblance to Fukuyama Masaharu’s character in Japanese drama, Detective Galileo. On the other hand, Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming’s role may be more refreshing.As a police officer who is playful and possesses many girlfriends, Kenneth often shares one-night stands with college flame, Bernice Liu Bik Yee. Kenneth and Bernice have numerous bed scenes in The Mysteries of Love. Bernice even noted that she will have scenes revealing her cleavage and bare back. This will be her most daring role in her career thus far. Perhaps the love scenes may not be able to aired due to broadcasting limits! From the titillating description, the media speculate that Kenneth and Bernice’s romantic arc may be more interesting than watching Raymond’s serious character!
Originally, Bernice had a cameo role in The Mysteries of Love. Prior to TVB executive, Stephen Chan’s, corruption allegations, Bernice asked Mr. Chan to increase her screen time in The Mysteries of Love.
