The 'Not Fair' singer claims the popular programmes, which include Simon Cowell's flagship UK programme 'The X Factor', are nothing more than prolonged adverts to sell records.

Lily has had a good week winning the British Female Solo Artist prize at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday night (16.02.10).
But some of her twitter followers are unhappy with her win and think Leona Lewis - who shot to fame after winning the 2006 series of 'The X Factor' - was a more deserving nominee.
Lily Allen has said that she has no qualms about showing off her twin assets and is comfortable getting her boobs out.
The singer confessed on her Twitter page that she had no fear in dropping her layers and baring it all.
“I’m comfortable getting them out - t*ts are t*ts.” News of the World quoted her as saying.
The 24-year-old recently posed in just a gold necklace for the latest edition of i-D magazine.
She was said to have covered an unusual feature, a third nipple, with her little finger just below her left breast.
An onlooker said: “Lily enjoyed stripping off. She’s proud of her body.”
Popstar Lily Allen has revealed that she didn''t have a single friend in school, and thus the feeling of not having any pals goaded her to make huge number of internet pals. The Not Big hitmaker revealed that she went on to make the most number of "friends" on the MySpace networking site than anyone else in Britain.
"I didn't have a really tough time growing up, but I didn't have any friends at school," The Mirror quoted her as telling Independent magazine.
Lily further revealed that she was delighted to tell her mother that she had made a record of having the largest number of pals in Britain.
"When I still lived with my mum, she came upstairs and I was on my laptop. I said ''Mum, I've got the most friends in the whole of Great Britain,” she said.
Lily Allen has confessed she kissed identical sisters during a trip to the US.
She told the Gay Times magazine: "I did once kiss identical twins in San Diego. I was on the sofa and I had them both. I was dancing and shoving my a**e on one of them."
While the singer says this was her sole sexual encounter with women, she admits to having lesbian fantasies "a lot".
She added: "I do have wet dreams - lesbian dreams - quite a lot."
Lily - who has previously been romantically linked to DJ Seb Chew and Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons - recently claimed her fame is ruining her sex life.
She said: "I have had a couple of times when I've got to know someone and we've had a really great time at my London apartment, just watching TV and having sex.
"And then I get paranoid because I get like, 'I don't want to leave the house with you because I don't want us to be photographed together and for us to suddenly have to justify our relationship, when we don't know what it is yet'."
British pop star Lily Allen has apologised after accidentally sending a topless photo of herself to Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson.
The Fear singer confessed she mistakenly sent the saucy text message to the rocker while she was on holiday.
During Lily’s interview with BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, Chris told her: "Ricky goes to me, 'I got this weird text the other day from Lily Allen of her topless.
"And I'm looking at it going why has she sent me that? Literally a minute later, 'beep beep ... Sorry, wrong Ricky!'"
The 23-year-old singer - who has provided backing vocals for Ricky’s band - admitted there had been a mix up and went on to joke it was intended for Never Gonna Give You Up singer Rick Astley.
She said: “That was really embarrassing. I was completely topless. It was meant for Rick Astley!"
Lily is no stranger to being captured topless on camera.
Last week, the star - who has often been photographed baring her breasts during sun-drenched holidays - revealed her "third nipple" to a Dutch TV chat show host, saying: "It gets hard when you touch it."

The '4 Minutes' singer met Jesus Luz in Rio de Janeiro while on a shoot for American magazine W, and the pair became so close she invited him to join her on the Sao Paolo leg of her 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "She was very interested in him. He's there with her now and photographer Steven Klein is helping him get along with everyone."

A friend of Madonna said: "It's not like she's asking him for details, but she's thrilled at the prospect of him moving on. It makes things easier for everybody."
